This Product is developed and operated by Snowline LLC and its affiliates (hereinafter referred to as “Snowline,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Our core mission is to offer intelligent photo search and related services.

We understand the importance of personal information to our users, and we appreciate your trust in us to carefully handle your information. We will never sell your personal data or use it for advertising purposes without your explicit permission.

This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) explains how we collect, use, store, share, and transfer your personal information when you use our Product or any services (“Services”) that reference this Policy. Please read this Policy carefully before using the Product to ensure you fully understand its contents. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us at: service@snowline.ai.

2. Scope of This Policy

This Policy applies to all Services we provide through the Product. Please note that this Policy does not apply to services offered solely by third parties. Such third-party services are provided independently, and those third parties will be responsible for processing any personal information you provide to them according to their own privacy policies and user agreements.

3. How We Collect and Use Your Personal Information

  • Definition of “Personal Information.” Any information recorded electronically or otherwise that can, alone or in combination with other information, identify an individual or reflect their activity.

  • Definition of “Sensitive Personal Information.” Information that, if leaked, illegally provided, or misused, might harm a person’s personal or property safety or lead to reputational damage or discriminatory treatment.

Below are the ways in which we collect and use personal information to provide you with relevant Services. If you choose not to use a particular function, you do not need to provide the information associated with that function. Please note that opting out of certain data collection may affect your ability to use some features.

3.1 Ensuring Normal Operation of the Product

To maintain security, stability, and functionality of the Product, we collect operational logs (e.g., network access type and status, system logs, and service logs).

3.2 Account Registration

  • When you register, you may choose to sign up via Apple Sign-in, email and verification code, mobile phone and verification code, or other authorized login methods. We collect the account identifier needed to create your account.
  • If you do not provide this information, you will be unable to access certain functions or Services.

We may collect and use your personal information without your explicit consent under certain circumstances, including but not limited to:

  • Situations related to national security, public safety, significant public interests, or legal obligations.
  • Information you yourself disclose publicly, or information lawfully obtained from publicly available sources.
  • Other situations as required or permitted by applicable laws.

3.4 User Feedback

If you contact us (e.g., by email at service@snowline.ai) with feedback regarding our Product or Services, we may log your contact details and message content for follow-up purposes.

  • If required by law or necessary for judicial or administrative investigations, we may process your personal information accordingly.
  • We may also process aggregated or anonymized data (which does not identify you directly). If aggregated data is ever combined with information that can identify you, the combined data will be treated as personal information.

4. How We Store Your Personal Information

  • Location and Retention Period. We currently store user data on servers located in the United States (via AWS). Your personal information will generally be stored in the US unless otherwise required by applicable laws or regulations. We only retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, unless a longer retention period is legally required or permitted.

  • Service Termination or Shutdown. If we cease operation of the Product or relevant Services, we will promptly stop collecting personal information and notify you via public announcements. Any retained data will be deleted or irreversibly anonymized as required by law.

5. How We Share, Transfer, and Disclose Your Personal Information

5.1 Sharing

We do not share your personal information with companies, organizations, or individuals outside of Snowline unless:

  • You have explicitly consented to such sharing;
  • It is necessary for core functionality of the Product (e.g., transferring data to a cloud service provider to process and store your information);
  • It is required by law or in response to litigation or public/governmental authorities’ requests;
  • It is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Snowline, its affiliates, our users, or the public;
  • We share it with our affiliates, but only to the extent strictly necessary and always under privacy terms that are at least as protective as this Policy.

5.2 Transfer

We do not transfer personal information to third parties, unless:

  • We have obtained your explicit consent;
  • It is required by law or legal process;
  • It is stipulated in a contract with you or other legally binding documents;
  • In the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset transfer involving Snowline, we will require the receiving party to comply with this Policy or obtain your explicit consent again.

5.3 Public Disclosure

We will only publicly disclose your personal information if:

  • You have given your explicit consent;
  • Disclosure is required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.

6. How We Protect Your Personal Information

We follow industry-standard security measures to safeguard your personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, misuse, modification, destruction, or loss. These measures include but are not limited to data encryption, anonymization, role-based access controls, and regular security audits.

7. Your Rights

7.1 Access and Correction

You can request to access or correct the personal information we hold about you by contacting us. Certain information—such as device data generated during your use—may not be fully accessible or changeable if doing so would compromise service security or violate law.

7.2 Deletion

You have the right to request deletion of your personal information under any of the following circumstances:

  • We collected your personal information without your consent;
  • We violate laws or regulations in processing your personal data;
  • You no longer use our Product or Services;
  • We have stopped providing the Product or Services to you.

We will respond within fifteen (15) business days. Please note that information may still exist in backup storage until it is overwritten.

You may withdraw your consent to our processing of personal information at any time. This will not affect prior processing already carried out based on your initial consent, but we will stop processing any further personal information that depends on such consent.

7.4 Account Closure

You may close your account at any time by contacting us. Upon verification, we will delete or anonymize your data, except where retention is required by law.

8. Children’s Information

Our Product is primarily intended for adults. If you are a minor, you should only use the Product with the permission of your legal guardian. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected information from a minor without verifiable parental consent, we will delete that information as soon as is technically feasible.

9. Policy Changes and Updates

We may revise this Policy due to legal or operational changes. We will notify you of any significant changes by prominent means (e.g., a notice on our website or application). Continued use of the Product after any update indicates your acceptance of the revised Policy.
